How we calculate

  1. Every day we update the market reference (trend, avg 1/7/30 days, lowest) for all catalogue cards and store it as a snapshot.
  2. Per game, the 200 cards with the highest trend price form the index basket; the index is their average trend price in euros.
  3. Changes compare the current snapshot with the closest snapshot 1, 7 or 30 days earlier, only over cards priced in both snapshots.
  4. Sales on this platform are shown separately and do not feed into reference values.
  5. Realised eBay sales are fetched for cards in demand (collections, wishlists, price check); we store only median, range and the latest sales.
  6. The estimate in the price check is a weighted average: reference value, platform sales (90 days) and eBay median, weighted by sample size and freshness.
